Daily Sun Protection for Indian Skin and Sunlight

India receives among the highest UV levels in the world, and in much of the country it stays high year-round rather than peaking in summer alone. Sunscreen here is not a seasonal product. It is also the single most effective step for preventing pigmentation, tanning and premature ageing — more effective than anything you can apply at night.

The white cast problem

Many sunscreens leave a grey cast on medium and deep skin tones, which is the main reason people stop using them. Our hydrating sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection is formulated to absorb without that cast, and it is light enough for humid weather.

For tan that has already developed, the charcoal de-tan soap works on face and body. The sun care kit pairs daytime protection with overnight repair.

How much sunscreen should I apply?

Roughly two finger-lengths for the face and neck. Most people apply about a quarter of what is needed, which reduces the actual protection substantially.

How often should I reapply?

Every three to four hours outdoors. Indoors away from windows, a single morning application is usually sufficient.

Do I need sunscreen indoors or on cloudy days?

UVA passes through cloud and window glass. If you sit near a window during the day, yes.

How long does a sun tan take to fade?

Four to six weeks naturally. A de-tan product and consistent sun protection shorten that.
